Sixty Protectors General
Taoists have sixty General God, each named with ten heavenly and twelve
earthly rotate and meshed together. In older days the fortune telling
mathematician use twelve animals (mouse, bull, tiger, rabbit, dragon,
snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig) to match the twelve
earthly. Within the sixty General Gods, each year term god looks after
a whole year's prosperity and disaster and also the person's birth year
General God who bless the person's luck. The person sincerely praying
these gods will be protected from disaster and blessed with luck. |
